Special Edition: The Atelier Cologne Postcards (and a drawing!)

The very kind and lovely Amanda, who does US P.R. for Atelier Colognes, is sending me a full sample set (with postcards) to give away to one of you! So leave a comment: which postcard do you like the best? You can give reasons, but don't have to...

I'll pick a winner on Wednesday, Nov. 24th (the day before Thanksgiving in the US) using random.org as always, and will announce the winner on Thursday, Nov. 25th and again on Friday, Nov. 26, for those who are cooking and/or traveling and/or recovering.

The postcard images appear below.  Good luck!

Orange Sanguine
Trefle Pur

Grand Neroli

Bois Blonds
Oolang Infini

The postcards are all so gorgeous. Great advertising campaign. I'd much rather look at that than read marketing copy. But I think Trefle Pur sounds the most interesting.

I find Trefle Pur the most visually balanced and pleasing (I also like the scent!), but I like the *idea* of the Oolong Infini card best.

I like the Oolong Infini card best because I'm a writer (who loves tea!).

I like the Orange Sanguine card's composition. The colors shade from orange to blue, and the paperweight echoes the shape of the coral and the seashell, making the card visually dynamic.

Oh, Bois Blonds...definitely. It just makes me feel good.

Oooo a chance to try these! TY!
The images are all beautiful in their own way but I think Grand Neroli's image calls to me the strongest because that's similar to how my dresser looks. I have my perfumes surrounded by cards, pictures in frames, painting and drawings from my artist daughters and knick -knacks, dried flowers, leaves, jewelry.....

They're all very nice. Oolang Infini is the one that caught me.

Oh, this is difficult. I really can't just choose one, I like them all - they are really artfully done and picking a perfume by a card would be impossible, I'd take them all. It's actually a great idea.

Hmmmm. I like the Bois Blonds muchly, but am feeling that I am feeling a more personal affirmation than anything by looking at it. (Which is, I suppose, notable in that such a feeling is probably indicative of a healthier state than if I were attached to the Oolang Infini, which is a set piece I kind of grew up with, in myth and reality.) I am inclined to prefer the Trefle Pur, but in the end, there is less exploration to be done in there than back with the Bois Blonds.

Orange Sanguine, I get, the orange...but I need to be careful to not sound whiney. Because I'm not. It would have been fun to get this designing gig.

Thanks to Amanda for providing, and you for hosting, the giveaway.

Grand Neroli, for the enigmatic and sleek china cat. It reminds me of a similar ornament that my grandmother had.

When she died, I kept a simple holiday memento in the style of a battered black stoneware cat, because I felt more sorry for it and knew it wouldn't find a home whereas the sleek cat always would! Now the black stoneware cat reminds me of the sleek cat *and* my grandmother too.

Yours, guilty of investing objects with layers of meaning and emotion,

regards, Anna in Edinburgh

I love the Oolong Infini card. The typewriter reminds me of a desk at my house when I was very young. In fact, I learned how to type on a similar typewriter. It just seems like a place to think about ideas while enjoying some tea. Cozy and homey!

Grand Neroli, followed by Trefle Pur, then Orange Sanguine. The Grand Neroli appeals to me because of the pink/purple colour scheme - restful and feminine.

At first glance, the Orange Sanguine looks wonderful~ very pleasing to the eye.

Thank you very much for scanning the postcards! They are as beautiful as I thought.

Trefle Pur is the one I love the most. Green is the main color there, so it's talking about the countryside, and the the drawing of the bird makes me think of a XIX ornithologist. It could be his/her desktop :) So evocative!

Please, enter me in the draw. Thank you again!

There's something about the Oolang Infini postcard that I find intriguing. Perhaps it's my bookish self trying to break out!

They're all gorgeous, but I think Grand Neroli is my favorite.
